Leadership Lee County Class of 2015-2016 Holds Ribbon Cutting for Playground Constructed for Twin Cedars – Child Advocacy Center

The playground for Twin Cedars – Child Advocacy Center officially opened with a joint Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Opelika and Auburn Chambers of Commerce. Tina Evans, Program Coordinator, and Twin Cedars’ Executive Director, Mike Angstadt, spoke with gratitude to the 2015-2016 Class of Leadership Lee County and offered words of appreciation for the class who selected the playground as their service project. Many local businesses donated materials and money to support this project, and the class spent hours working to make it special. Members of the 2015-2016 Leadership Class were present, along with LLC board members, and members of the Opelika and Auburn Chambers of Commerce, to celebrate the completion of the project and to celebrate the impact it will have on the center and the children who visit there.
